It’s a boy! When we were pregnant, part of the excitement was not knowing what we were having until the baby arrived. But, that meant figuring out how to decorate a nursery that would suit a boy or a girl. We used a gray, neutral color palette in our nursery to bring our sweet baby home to.
Our first nursery buy was the crib, which is ironic because at 5 months Jackson still isn’t in here all of the time. This Sorelle Berkley crib is super cute in gray and white and converts into a toddler bed, day bed and full sized bed.
You can’t go wrong with the IKEAHemnes dresser. It’s a staple in both the master bedroom and nursery. From the look and price, can you beat it?
These sweet frames and the cloud book shelf are from hobby lobby.
This dresser is perfect for a nursery because it has so many drawers that hold clothes, diapers, blankets, bibs, you name it!
**Just remember to use the kit to secure it to the wall.
What nursery is complete without a rocker? We’ve spent many nights here cuddling and rocking our little one. This ottoman is super cute in this teal color and, BONUS, it doubles as storage!
Baskets and bins are so necessary for easy clean up. I could have 100 of these cute storage baskets in our house to easy toss stuff into so everything looks tidy!
To be honest, I don’t know if black out curtains in the nursery help Jackson sleep or not, but everyone swears by them so we got them too. When your baby doesn’t sleep, you’ll try anything!
One thing I wish we had in the nursery was a small table next to the rocker. We don’t have a lot of room for one, but it would be helpful to have a place to put things that can easily be reached.
How sweet is this growth chart our cousin made for us!? Plus, we can take it with us to each move 😉
What are your nursery must haves?
